St. Gertrude the Great Roman Catholic Church is a Traditional Catholic (Sedevacantist) parish. It was established in February 1978 by Father Daniel L. Dolan to serve the Traditional Catholics in Cincinnati area. The church first started as a mission in rented facilities, and then from 1980 onwards in an own church building, first in Sharonville and then since 2003 in West Chester, OH.
The pastor of St. Gertrude the Great Church (SGG in short) has since its foundation been Bishop Dolan, who was consecrated Bishop in 1993 by Bishop Mark Pivarunas. In 1989 Father Anthony Cekada joined him as an Assistant Pastor. Other SGG clergy are Fr. Charles McGuire, Fr. Vili Lehtoranta, and Fr. Stephen McKenna, who serve our missions around the country (including St. Hugh of Lincoln parish in Milwaukee, WI), and Fr. Bede Nkamuke, who heads our mission in Nigeria.
The church also operates St. Gertrude the Great School for grades K-12, and broadcasts daily Mass in the Internet.
This website is established to publish the daily sermons, delivered during the daily High Mass at St. Gertrude the Great School, and on other occasions during the week at SGG or in the missions.
